Definition Electronic Marker Generator

An electronic device which generates electrical pulses of precise characteristics with respect to amplitude, shape, duration and recurrence. Such pulses serve as reference indices on the screen of a cathode ray tube for determination of data such as radar target range, azimuth, elevation and similar applications.
