General Description:
Lithium battery insert assembly allows installation of lithium batteries into power source housing ptmg-120 which normally is set up to accept ni-cad or magnesium batteries; with this insert and two ba5590 batteries an an/urc-100 thr 112 radio set can be operated approx 30 hours with 5 watt transmitter output and 20 hours with 20 watt output; time based on a 9 to 1 receive to transmit duty cycle; special features: insert includes safety circuitry to prevent accidents with lithium batteries
