A metallic device which protrudes horizontally from a gun barrel, and is used by a gun commander to select and/or designate a target to, or check the "on target" sight of, the gunner. It consists of a split collar which clamps on the gun barrel, a projecting arm(s) which supports a lens holder, and a reticle or polarized lens. It includes azimuth and elevation boresighting adjustments. Excludes sight, front; sight, rear and sight, bore, optical.
