Definition Power Line Conditioner

An item designed to eliminate electrical power line disturbances, including voltage spikes, distortions, and high frequency noise, from an alternating current input to produce a clean, stabilized output. For items which change the output voltage see power supply. For items which do not filter or regulate the output but have overvoltage protection see cable assembly, power, electrical. For items which only regulate the frequency of the output see regulator (1) as modified, and filter (3) as modified.
