A panel which is specifically designed to provide one or more kinds of protection for any or all equipment used in an electrical system. Protection provided may be such as differential current protection, reverse phase sequence connection protection, over-excitation protection, under-speed protection, over-voltage protection, fault protection, under-voltage protection, surge protection, etc. May control the generator(s) operation. Incorporates into a single item the system protection formerly placed at various points in the electrical system.
