Definition Biometric And Management System

A system of components that scans, photographs or captures images and collects biometric and identity information for management and processing. It consists of a fingerprint reader, iris camera for capturing iris images, multi-purpose camera and hand held computing platform for collecting, processing and storage of biometric data. It also establishes identity indicators in a database or matches against them for positive verification or identification of an individual.
