Definition Target Tracking Sight Control

A hand manipulated control specifically designed to operate a servo-powered gimballed sighting device used for tracking a moving target from a helicopter or other vehicle. Tracking movements of the sight generates error voltages for automatically correcting the flight path of the vehicle-launched guided missile.
